Are you searching for belonging? Are you unsure of how the natural world relates to you? Do you already have a nature practice and seek community?
Join Trans* Lounge instructor & eco trans therapist Dean Stahl (they/them) for Never Been Misgendered by a Tree!
This is a 90-minute in-person workshop geared towards sensitive folx searching for connection, process ecological grief, and build community.
By the end of this workshop, we will:
- Explore the 4 concepts of radical ecopsychology
- Meet like minded people
- Walk together to a nearby park
- Practice a mindfulness exercise increasing our connection with the natural world
Accessibility: This class is an in-person group beginning at the LGBT center and includes a walk for .4 miles to De Longpre Park. At the park, we’ll sit on blankets on the grass, with a few benches for folx who need them. Is there anything else you need for accommodation?

Dean Stahl (they/them) (@deanstahltherapy) is a queer and trans therapist (AMFT #137070) and playwright interested in cultivating our relationships with the natural world for belonging. Their background is in depth, LGBTQIA+ affirming, writing, and decolonial psychology.
They currently serve queer and trans clients exploring identity, belonging, and acceptance in-person in Los Angeles and virtually in California.
