Underworks and F2M Binders at Underworks logos

Through the generosity of Underworks, the Trans* Lounge can offer binders to its TGI/Enby+ (Trans, Gender Non-Conforming, Intersex, and Non-Binary) members in need. We work on the honor system here so please only request a binder if you are truly in need of one.

We have a limited supply of brand new Underworks binders on hand, as well as gift cards in case we don’t have the size or style you want in stock. All Trans* Lounge Members are eligible to receive one brand new Underworks binder! If you need additional binders, you can reach out to us about the selection of gently used binders.

We accept donations of clean, gently-used binders, that are in need of a new home. If you have binders you would like to donate, you can contact us to set up a drop off here at our offices or we can receive donations via physical mail to: Trans Lounge, 1125 North McCadden Place, Los Angeles, CA 90038. If you have questions you can reach out to us at: [email protected].

Determining Your Size

Before requesting a binder, it is very important that you know your size! Binders are serious business and misuse of one may cause unnecessary and potentially serious discomfort.

  • Please keep in mind that these garments are sized and graded for compression purposes, so they are designed to fit snugly, in order to compress and flatten.
  • Do not intentionally go down in size; you will not be able to put your binder on.
  • In a correctly fitting binder, you should be able to breathe without trouble. Your binder should not cause excessive discomfort or dig into your skin. If you experience any of this, you likely have the wrong size!

All of our new binders will be coming from Underworks, so we recommend you check their size chart for the Tri-top Chest Binder to properly determine your size: https://www.f2mbinders.com/tri-top-chest-binder-ftm

Measure Your Chest

First take a snug measurement under the “bustline” with a tape measure. Next take another measurement over the fullest part of your chest. Again not too tight but not too loose. Take the average of these two measurements and apply the result to the scale provided below.

SizeXSSMLXL2X3X
Chest (inches)28-3031-3334-3637-4041-4445-4849-52
Chest (cm)71-7679-8486-9194-102104-112114-122125-132

How To Wear

Hold both straps of the shirt and step into the garment. Pull up the garment and slide arms through armhole and adjust for comfort. Don’t adjust chest tissue into uncomfortable or unnatural positions, such as pulling or shoving the tissue too far down or sideways.

How To Care

Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low or flat dry. No bleach, no iron.
